Niso Atakhanova is an artist born in Moscow.
Graduated from the Moscow State Art and Industry Academy named after S.G. Stroganov, faculty of monumental and decorative painting. He is engaged in painting, mosaic and installation. Works in architecture as a monumental artist.
Niso talks about her work - “In my works I use images seen in the cultures of Europe and Asia. I am interested in people's habits, their practices, worldview and how they relate to the environment, people's way of life. Some of the works are devoted to the unique nature of the places I have visited. Therefore, travel and acquaintance with the traditions of other countries are very closely related to what I create in my workshop in Moscow.
Thus, the paintings combine the images of the world idealized by me and real events from the life of society. The angle of view gradually changes. Previously, the heroes of the paintings were often animals and birds of paradise. Now all events are developing mainly around a person. "
The paintings are in collections in Russia, Germany, Switzerland, France and the public collection of the State Museum of the East, the North Caucasian branch, Maikop, Adygea.
