Federal newspaper "Russian news" about the opening of the exhibition "Moscow and views"
19 April 2017

Nikolskaya Gallery opened its new, rather unusual exhibition "Moscow and views"! It is unusual because it exhibited at once work in two contrasting genres: seven works in the style of Russian impressionism from Sergei Marchenko and fifteen works from the master of abstraction Sergei Ireeshev.
Since childhood Marchenko Sergey dreamed of becoming an artist. At first he studied at an art school, then was admitted to a special school for artistically gifted children. Tomsk, after which he entered the MGAHI them. VI Surikov. He chose the Faculty of easel painting. Since 2003, he lived and worked in France, exhibited in various European art galleries.
Ireshev Sergey - was born in Saratov and studied painting privately, currently studying impressionism in the studio of Sergei Bryukhanov. In recent years, he takes an active part in various exhibitions, both personal and collective. He won recognition not only in Russia, but also abroad.
The key theme of their work at this exhibition is the image of the life of the capital of our homeland, its inhabitants. Seeing these seemingly ordinary places and events every day, you do not notice all their beauty, but thanks to the talent of Sergei Marchenko, his author's view of life, you understand how beautiful this world is.
Want to think? Refer to the paintings of Ireeshev, which carry a very deep, philosophical meaning (no, this is not a heroin parish).
In addition, if you are sufficiently wealthy, then you can always buy any of the paintings in your private collection.
